I am a freelance photographer based in Mexico City.
 

I studied a bachelors in Comunications at UNIVERSIDAD IBEROAMERICANA and
Professional Photography at ESCUELA ACTIVA DE FOTOGRAFÍA in Mexico City,
besides taking worshops with photographers that had inspired my vision such as Alex Webb, Ernesto Bazan, Joseph Rodriguez and Michael Ackerman.
 

Since year 2000 I have develop comercial proyects for companies as BBVA, American Express, Opinno, Avaya, UNAM, Craft Architects, magazines as Marie Claire, Travesias, df por Travesias and Fangoria, besides shooting the books “Los Pinos. Esta Es Tu Casa (Agueda, 2002) and “Agave. Corazón de la Herencia Mexicana” (Grupo México, 2012).

I worked for 13 years as a photographer staff member for GRUPO REFORMA. For a year (2013-2014) I was in charge of the Soft News Area. This section is used to provide images to weekly, monthly and specific dates and topics for sections as Travel, Food and Wine, Fashion, Architecture, Leisure Time, Health, Environment, Politic Analysis and Fine Arts. During that time my images appeared in more than 500 covers of all supplements, including two covers for Pixel (the twice-a-year magazine for the remarkable pictures of REFORMA), the Exhibition "Pixel en el Auditorio Nacional" and Expofotoperiodísmo
(Exhibition-Photojouralism) 2005, 2007 and 2008.
